Pigment for Legacy Industrial’s HellFire® Concrete Coating supplied in a 8 oz. bottle.
Usage Rate: Use 2 oz. of black pigment per 1 gallon of HellFire® Concrete Coating to achieve the “Citadel” coloration. One 8 oz. bottle is sufficient to pigment 4 gallons of coating.
Application Tip: Inter-mix pigment into your HellFire® Concrete Coating when applying the final color coat for best uniformity. For multi-coat kits, ensure you have enough pigment to cover the total volume of your last color coat.
Color Consistency: If you are using multiple one-gallon cans for your final coat, “boxing” them (mixing them together in a larger 5-gallon bucket) after adding the pigment ensures a perfectly uniform “Citadel” shade across the entire floor.
Base Color Note: HellFire® is naturally a gray/silver metallic base. Adding this pigment transforms that base into the deeper, tactical “Citadel” look, which is excellent for hiding surface imperfections while maintaining the product’s signature heat and chemical resistance.
How Much Pigment is Needed?
To achieve a solid, consistent color with HellFire® Concrete Coating, follow these coverage and mixing guidelines:

Pro Tip for Textured Surfaces: If you are applying HellFire over a flake broadcast floor, your coverage will decrease because the liquid must fill the texture of the chips. We recommend ordering 15–20% extra material for floors with heavy flake distribution to ensure full coverage.
